WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Eyelash extensions is a semi-permeant beauty treatment that consists of an individual eyelash extension being applied to your natural eyelash. Each eyelash extension is tailored to suit your natural eyelash, using the correct length, thickness and curl, this treatment does not cause any damage to your natural eyelashes when applied properly.
ARE CLUSTER LASHES THE SAME THING?
No. They are made up of various strands of eyelashes with an extremely thick base. They are lower quality and damage your natural lashes as they are super thick.
WILL VOLUME EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY EYELASHES?
Volume lashes are made up of 3-8 extensions, which are carefully placed on 1 individual eyelash. The weight of a fan equals the weight of 1 eyelash extension. Each fan is handmade during your appointment, which makes it super easy to tailor each set to your natural eyelash needs.
HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
Eyelash extensions last 3-4 weeks depending on your skin type, with proper care they have the potential to last longer. You should get your eyelashes infilled every 2-3 weeks to maintain the fullness.
CAN I HAVE LONG AND FULL EXTENSIONS?
The length and fullness of your extensions depends on the health of your natural lashes and also what treatment you're having. It is highly dangerous to your natural lash health if you constantly have eyelash extensions that aren't suitable for your natural eyelashes, in the long run you can be left with weak and stagnant eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are great for enhancing your eyes and overall look, but it truly isn't worth it if you're risking your natural lash health.
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO LOOK AFTER MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
I recommend using a foam cleanser (you can buy one at your appointment!), staying away from water for the first 24 hours after getting your eyelashes done, using only oil-free products around the eyes. The best time to brush your eyelash extensions is when they’re wet! They are easily manipulated when wet and if they dry clumped together, you risk them falling out faster and having troubles brushing through later in the day. Also avoid sleeping on your face! At your lash appointment you'll be given an aftercare card with instructions, so not to panic if you forget.
I’M GOING ON HOLIDAY, WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DO MY EYELASHES?
At least 48 hours before you fly is best, especially if you’re travelling to a hot country, the changes in humidity and airplane pressure may affect how quickly your eyelash extensions cure.
WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?
This is a great alternative to eyelash extensions for those that already have healthy down-facing/straight eyelashes., it lasts up to 6 - 8 weeks and consists of a curl and lift treatment done to your natural eyelashes. There is no maintenance required! Please ensure you book in a patch test for a lash lift.
